Forrest Griffin out of UFC 155 bout with Phil Davis due to knee injury

08:16 PM ET 12.05 | Former UFC light heavyweight champion and season 1 winner of 'The Ultimate Fighter' Forrest Griffin has withdrawn from his bout at UFC 155. Griffin was slated to face rising contender Phil Davis, but was forced out with ligament injuries in his knee. "Forrest has [an] MCL tear and [an] ACL strain," UFC President Dana White Tweeted on Wednesday. "Twenty [cubic centimeters] of blood [were] removed from his knee, and the saga continues at the UFC." No replacement has yet been named for Davis.
