07:56 AM ET 12.06 | This time, the quarterback change would be most welcome. The Steelers on Sunday appear ready to start their third different quarterback in four games. Ben Roethlisberger Sr. looks ready to go. Roethlisberger went through a full practice Wednesday for the first time since he left the Nov. 12 game against Kansas City with shoulder and rib injuries, and as long as there are no setbacks, he will make his first start in nearly a month against San Diego in Heinz Field. "I thought it was a positive day for Ben," Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said after practice. "He threw the ball around both vertically and horizontally. I thought the ball had good velocity, particularly in a few instances. It was positive. ... I saw him make the necessary throws."

If he's good to go the Steelers could be the favorites to win it all!

I wouldn't go that far. They do have a soft schedule the rest of the regular season, though.

They'd be getting the soft schedule and several players back...it could happen.

Just get rid of it quick and avoid getting hit. No need to be a hero against SD.

Chargers - Cowboys - Bengals - Browns?
That's not just a soft schedule. If they don't win out, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs.
But, they will be in the playoffs as a wild card. After that, it's anybody's guess.

The Bengals are playing well, and the Browns have already beaten them once.

Hopefully this isn't Ben just trying to prove his manliness. It didn't work out so well last year when he gutted out the season, then was less than 100% for the playoffs.

Who would've thought that if the Steelers didn't win out their last 5 games, they'd lose the last playoff spot to the Bengals and .... the Colts.

The Colts have 2 against the Texans. It's not going to be easy for them.

Indeed we are. But you have to admit, we most of our out-of-division games, too.
One of Bill Belichick's mantras is "It's hard to beat the same team twice in one year."
