Wisconsin to interview Boise State's Petersen

08:12 AM ET 12.06 | When in doubt, call in a legend. University of Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez will coach the football team in the Rose Bowl, the State Journal has confirmed. A source close to the UW football program said the team's captains reached out to Alvarez and asked him to coach the team. ... Another source close to the UW Athletic Department said Alvarez has been in contact with Boise State coach Chris Petersen and an interview could happen as early as Monday. Both UW sources spoke on the condition of anonymity, because they have not been cleared to speak publicly on these issues. Petersen, 47, is the winningest active coach at the Football Bowl Subdivision level, with an 83-8 record (.912 winning percentage) over seven seasons.

IDK, maybe that is close enough to where he lives now he may think about it... low pressure, no one in the B1G will be able to stop his offense, and the B1G is in such disarray he could win win win.....

You ever watch Sasquatch Hunters? My kids do for a laugh...it is freakin funny if you're in the right mood....
FWIW, I've seen 2 'squatches between Mena and Broken Bow....one was homecoming queen there

No. No. No. Members of my family have moved away from Madison. My SIL lives in Boise. If and when I visit her in the Fall,* I want to be able to see Petersen's team.
*The wife only wants to go to Idaho in high summer... :-(
