01:38 PM ET 12.06 | Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson needs only seven more rushing yards to reach 1,000 yards, per Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean. If Johnson breaks that mark this Sunday, it will be his fifth consecutive 1,000-yard season as a pro. Considering his incredibly slow start to the 2012 season, it's impressive that CJ2K was able to rebound in such fashion. Johnson's next opportunity will be in Week 14 against the Indianapolis Colts.

so? 1000 yards is a weak year for most RBs....there are already 8 1000 yd rushers with 4 games left to play....

+1. Works out to an average of about 83 yds/game. Not bad but not great. 1,000 yards is no longer a big deal.

Gotta think that the slow starts each year are because he comes into camp in poor conditioning and has to play his way into shape.

Mentioning his slow start and the word "impressive" should never be in the same sentence, regardless of context
