03:50 PM ET 12.06 | The value of Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been quite evident in the three games that he has missed as Pittsburgh went 1-2 and averaged only 15.6 points per game in his absence, but he will finally return this week against the San Diego Chargers. According to Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, Roethlisberger will start. Roethlisberger has completed 66.1 percent of his passes for 2,287 yards, 17 touchdowns and four interceptions in nine starts. Byron Leftwich and Charlie Batch combined to throw one touchdown and five interceptions as his replacements, with Leftwich suffering his own injury.

I'd get Charlie prepped to play this week too. I have my doubts as to whether Ben can hold together for a whole game.

Oh well... It's the Chargers with the Cowboys following.

Pass rush shouldn't be an issue.

No, that's Giants great Lawrence Taylor you're thinking of. You remember him, yes?

Yes, I remember him, and I know what he did. But at least he waited until he was no longer the face of an NFL franchise. And I don't think it happened more than once. And it's easier to use the name "Ben Roethlisrapist" anyway.

I understand the women love it. That's what I've heard; I don't need to see any proof or _I_ will start vomiting.

Oh I see. So the fact that LT hires teen prostitutes doesn't bother you. Neither does making demonstrably false statements regarding others. But at least LT retired before he started raping teenagers. That seems to be important to you.

Yes, it is. Keep in mind that we're talking about the morality and ethics of professional football players.

Welcome back, Big Ben, & stay safe out there!
