05:00 PM ET 12.06 | Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was limited in Wednesday practice, though it is likely just a precaution and we are likely to see this continue for the rest of the season knowing Bill Belichick. Hernandez has missed a little more than half of the season with an ankle injury but played every snap in Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins and caught eight passes for 97 yards. Hernandez hasn't caught a touchdown pass since Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks but with Rob Gronkowski on the mend, he could get more opportunities against the Texans this week.

Creepy!

The Pats have been coasting through their soft schedule. The face Houston and SanFran the next two weeks, then two more girls' school games. They've clinched the AFC East already.

So, I'm not surprised Hernandez hasn't been put into risky situations. He doesn't need to be.

doesn't matter who plays for the Pats...Pats win by 7...better coaching, better qb, at home, and the game means more to the Pats than it does the Houston Oilers....err, the Dallas Texicans....er, the new team in Houston...
