08:30 AM ET 12.07 | Of course, the bad news comes in the form of losing Trey Hopkins, Texas' best offensive lineman, to surgery, but there was some good news on the injury front. Texas also announced Thursday that defensive end Alex Okafor (ankle), running back Joe Bergeron (shoulder), defensive tackle Ashton Dorsey (concussion) and placekicker Anthony Fera (hip) are all expected to be medically cleared for practice and the bowl game. There was no mention in the injury report of quarterback David Ash, who didn't start for the first time all season in the finale after suffering a rib injury against TCU. Brown said no determination has been made whether Ash will open against Oregon State or if Case McCoy will get his second straight start.

You just go by polls? So ND is going to beat Bama? And Florida is a lock in their game?

No need to play the games then.

LOL

That you love OT, now your luv is the playoffs, till it ends up with two SEC in the finals, then you will hate it and say they need to change it.

Don't you need to have a quarterback in the first place in order to have a quarterback controversy?

I can only hope that this becomes warranted. Would be nice to cap off this season with a win here. Go Beavers!!!

Year after year at year's end they always add they have confidence in MB and that he will be back again next season, how much longer will they be able to do that?

That guy has done a good job coaching them. He comes up with a pretty good team every now and then...and does so with less talent than most other PAC schools.

The Beavs are just one year removed from losing to Sac State aren't they?
