Lockout talk leads to ugly radio exchange

08:35 AM ET 12.07 | The events of these recent roller coaster days have emotions running hot, and they boiled over between former Blue Jackets exec Doug MacLean and Nick Kypreos during a radio segment Thursday afternoon. MacLean made a point that third- and fourth-liners are doing just fine, salary-wise, in the NHL and that a deal as it might have been done with the current terms would keep them still doing fine. ... Kypreos unloaded with this fusillade: "Maybe that's why you never won in Columbus, because you crapped all over third- and fourth-liners." MacLean blew his stack, firing back, "Maybe that's why you only had an eight-year career. Maybe that's why you got kicked out. Don't start throwing darts when you don't know what you're talkin' about." And it went on from there.

if they can get stable ownership, management, and coaches then Columbus can workout.. it is a pretty decent sports market. John Davidson is a good start.. it's not going to be a quick fix, but if he can do the same thing as he did in St. Louis then he can turn this bumbling franchise around.
