12:32 PM ET 12.07 | New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks returned to practice on Friday after missing two days with a knee injury. Nicks has been banged up for most of the season, but his return to practice means he will likely play on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. Nicks caught five passes for 43 yards last week and has 46 receptions for 585 yards and two touchdowns in nine games this season.

Yes, they do need him. They also need to be able to stay on the field longer, and finish of drives with touchdowns instead of settling for field goals; and that means running the ball better.
