Seymour denies headbutt accusations

Richard Seymour is done talking about Nick Hardwick. The Patriots defensive end hopes he has closed the book on the Chargers center, who called him dirty in an expletive-laden postgame tirade on Sunday, then followed up on Wednesday by saying Seymour had head-butted a Chargers coach before the game. "A coach," Seymour said with a grimace. "A coach that was out on the field?" Video of the altercation posted on profootballtalk.com appeared to exonerate Seymour. Either way, he wasn't losing any sleep over the accusations.

Stomache saying, "Uh uhhh, you ain't going nowhere." Could have been part of the celebration thing.

January 25, 2008  07:46 AM ET

G'morning everyone! :D

January 25, 2008  07:47 AM ET

Funny stuff, Hooah!, haha. But really, the Chargers spent all season trying to put down the Pats - and a few other teams - and couldn't get the job done, other than with their mouths. Even the Titans - a team lucky to have made the playoffs this year - said they had no time for all the talking the Chargers do. Now Harwick wants to make excuses, saying the Pats are dirty. The Chargers should worry about living up to their potential, and be a little less worried about seeing their names in the paper

Morning Milkdud.

January 25, 2008  07:54 AM ET

morning Red..

off to the bus stop.. back in a while

January 25, 2008  07:56 AM ET

:D I remember when my mommy still accompanied me to the bus stop. But I think it wasn't b/c of me b/c that's where all the grownups have their coffee and talk. Kinda like a morning gathering...

Nice image Red/Milk. Those were the days. Even better in our youths. Mom send us out to play in the morning. Call us in for lunch. Send us out again. Call us in for dinner. Out again, into the night until that final call, usually from dad.

I guess mom needed some "me" time with her soaps. We didn't care though.

Funny stuff. People just love to hate the Pats, don't they?

Varmint Hall of Fame | 01/25/08, 08:11 AM

Noone would hate them if they were 8-8.

he has a head
just no brain

January 25, 2008  08:32 AM ET

Seymour's picture looks like he's saying, "I'm just so emotional over this. I really thought we had moved on. I need some alone time please."
