03:39 PM ET 12.07 | Austin Rivers' rookie season with the New Orleans Hornets is off to a very bad start. He is averaging just 6.1 points on 28.3 percent from the field after 16 games, and many of the concerns people had about his game coming out of college are coming to fruition. However, coach Monty Williams recently said that he has no interest in benching Rivers. "What I'm not going to do is bury him on the bench because he's out there trying to do the right thing for the team," Williams said. "I think that would hurt him more than anything. I'm going play him through his mistakes and it's going to help our program two or three years from now."

Now you have all the pundits from the "Fan na wu Nation Clan suggestion what a young Rivers should have done. It is very apparant to Austin that Monty, yes his coach, has his back and best interest (which I'm sure Doc appreciates) at hand, rather than a select few for the "Fan nu wu Nation Clan" Shutty and let Monty do what he does!
