Petrino back to state of Arkansas?

03:48 PM ET 12.07 | According to the rumor mill, Bobby Petrino has put in for jobs ranging from Southern Miss to South Florida and so on. The latest, Arkansas State, would mean him going back to the state he just left after being fired. It's also hard to imagine ASU would go for a big name after sending two coaches in two years onto the SEC.

It says ASU has sent two coaches in two years to the SEC.

Yes, one of the homeliest guys in my high school had an HD 250 (one cylinder), and he had hot chicks ride with him.

"Hello. This is Bobby Petrino calling. I'm very interested in the head coaching position at your school. The news about me is not good. I am contrite. That's all behind me, now. I will run a clean program, develop young men of character, and bring success on the gridiron. Please, return my call at any hour. My schedule is flexible, and I am ready to meet with you. Thank you."

Lay low for a while dude. Plus the NFL coaching carousel is set to begin in about a month.

He'll end up in some low level college job somewhere. No NFL job for him after he walked out on the Falcons.

Is it possible for Petrino to land more than one coaching gig at the same time?

When he wins with that low level program, some desparate big time program will hire him. All pretense of morality in the cut throat big business of sports is just that, a pretense. Winning and the huge profits that come with it will still trump all.
