06:34 PM ET 12.07 | Johny Hendricks, once the named number-one contender at welterweight, believes UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre doesn't want to face him. With news that GSP asked UFC President Dana White for a match with Nick Diaz, Hendricks thinks something is amiss. "All day yesterday I'm sitting and trying to run through my head, "Why would you (St-Pierre) not want to face me when I'm the number one contender? Why do you want to face somebody that lost (Diaz) his last fight?" GSP just beat the guy (Carlos Condit) who beat him. He's (Diaz) has been out for a year. Here I am in that year, I fought all these guys to earn my spot. That's what I really have been trying to do and that's earn my way. To see GSP say that he hates seeing people that talk trash and here he is rewarding a guy and giving him a title shot. I don't see the logic behind that."

Hendricks is a one-trick pony. Short of a lucky punch, GSP would kick his ass.

Lucky punch? Hahaha. It's not like Hendricks has defeated three top 10 guys in a row - two of them top five guys. Including a guy that GSP called the toughest fight of his career. And oh yeah, Hendricks finished Fitch in under 10 seconds. GSP couldn't finish him in 25 minutes. GSP will have a hard time getting Hendricks down - and as soon as he eats a left (if Kos can hit you - and Shields can out strike you for a round, clearly Hendricks is going to hit you) it's over.

Hendricks will be champion in 2013. Unless GSP continues to duck him...

At the very least GSP should be wary of that one punch. The guy can toss them.

Agree...but the problem will be Dana White. GSP should have to face Hendricks first but unfortunately this will come down to $ for Dana.

GSP doesn't have a hard time taking anyone down (See Koscheck, Fitch). Hendricks will be no different. Expect another five round schooling.
