08:58 AM ET 12.08 | Heat coach Erik Spoelstra has spoken to Pat Riley "virtually daily" -- and Florida coach Billy Donovan during the summer -- about how to keep a championship team hungry and engaged. But Riley has not spoken to the team, LeBron James said. Maybe it's time for that.

Atleast it shows a lot of maturity on Spo's part. He wants to learn and improve continuously.

With Spo there much area above in which he can aspire.

The Heat are good, but not as good as some would suggest, or is it me that would suggest that? No, its the Heat fans who is suggesting that. You have them and morons such as Fatso Barkley, who by the way, is always wrong, suggesting that the Heat will win possibably 3 of the next 4 championships.......even the Heat players and coach doesn't believe this maddness. This is Apple and keep dreamin!

Why was Pittman given guaranteed money and why did they sign Harrellson?
Neither have played decent minutes for the season.
This small ball crap isn't working.
It only works in crunch time, not the entire game!
Haslem and Bosh can finish the game if both are feeling the touch, but they shouldn't be the starting front line.
It should be Chalmers,Wade,Bron,Bosh,Harrellson.
Harrellson can stretch the floor, bang down low and rebound.
Joel Anthony has seemed to have gotten worst and the biggest big body they have is Pittman so for the life of me, why aren't he and Harrellson getting minutes?
Pittman at the very least should get 10-15 minutes, clearly small ball for 48 minutes is what has this team looking like they took a step back, it's not rocket science!

You're a idiot if you believe that.
Ask around rook!
I have been a heat fan since 1999, been on this site since 2007 the season they won just 15 games, so spare me with all that crap cause you want to feel accomplished.

The Celtics did beat they're multiple times and was a few minutes away from beating they **** last year. It was only that the Heat came to the table with a stack deck...Davey Boy Stern and a whole slew of backpocket refs. How quickly Heat fans forget all the assits it got all thru the title run last year. I mean round after round! I remember you running off at the mouth this year about how the Knicks were given a charity victory because of Sandy. After a second **** whipping, whats you deal now buddy. Apple and the Knicks have been all over that **** and I suspect the Celtics have a little some'em some'em fa dat **** as well. Keep talkin....Apple!

Why would I feel accomplished from writing a comment on a blog??? How is that even possible? Just like all the Marlin fans were fans in 1998 and 2004 as well. Spare us your claims of loyalty because nobody cares.

Heat sure whoop that **** in the playoffs, just like the knicks though, can only ball so hard in the regular season, come playoff time you either get swept or barely win 1 game!
I ain't got no worries, Melo is desperate for a ring, the heat big 3 already have accomplished that goal.
And when Amare returns, it's the same old script....
"Melo & STAT can't play on the court at the same time together".

Whatever keeps you going, chief. I'm happy to be your inspiration.

It is always harder to repeat. Very few teams are able to win two in a row much less three in a row. Pat Riley knows what it's like and is a good sounding board for Spoelstra. Still I don't see any team in the East capable of dethroning Miami so I have them going back to the Finals against OKC.
