10:44 AM ET 12.08 | When Robert Griffin III won the Heisman trophy last year, the University began garnering more national attention. What was once the laughing stock of the Big 12, the Bears received college football's highest individual honor. The University also received a lot of money following RG3's win. The Sports Business Journal reports that Baylor received around $250 million in "extra donations, increased ticket sales, licensing fees, sponsorship deals (and) an expanded deal with Fox Sports Southwest."

I agree and if RGIII can stay healthy, he will be a force for years to come. It's amazing what Shanahan has done for that team. The Skins average over 160 yards a game rushing the ball.

+1. He's got IT between the ears and between the shoulders in addition to the athletic ability in his arms and legs. Not many have IT to the degree he does.

Nope. They received an education, which is a very powerful thing. We tend to take that for granted these days.

Yes this is true but the players do generate a large sum of money and they are adults with rights.
