09:02 AM ET 12.09 | A person involved with the Florida State program confirms that Randy Shannon's name has been tossed around internally - along with others - for the Seminoles' vacant defensive coordinator. Shannon, the former Miami coach, is TCU's linebackers coach.

I'd have no problem with Randy Shannon as our DC. He may have crashed and burned as a head coach, but his DC credentials are very solid.
