NHL closer to deal than Gary Bettman is letting on?

10:48 AM ET 12.09 | What the NHL says and what it does aren't often the same things: I've never seen Gary Bettman as upset and defeated as he was on Thursday night and yet there have been no games cancelled beyond this Friday. Bettman must believe he is closer to a deal than he says and, if not, why haven't games been cancelled?

cancelled games to be announced on Monday. They should probably dig a little deeper!
And bettman is the owners puppet, yell at the owners lol. I don't like him either but the anger is so misplaced its unreal. Dont' shoot the messenger!
