11:24 AM ET 12.09 | The Cincinnati Bengals will hold a moment of silence prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. game in Cincinnati against the Dallas Cowboys in honor of Jerry Brown, the Dallas linebacker who was killed in a car accident Saturday, according to the Bengals. Brown was a passenger in a vehicle driven by teammate Josh Brent. Brent's vehicle reportedly hit a curb and flipped. Brent was arrested for driving while intoxicated and involuntary manslaughter.

As a fan of the NFL my heart goes out to the family of their son.I work years as an EMT and I still have no use of a drunk driver.

Comment #3.....I hear you....never worked as EMT, but have had a friend killed by a drunk.
Harsher punishements required......but will stop at that......condolences to the Brown family.
It is way too hard to process an avoidable death like this.
