Hibbert: 'I will be the best center in the league'

07:56 AM ET 12.10 | Indiana's Roy Hibbert has been the first to admit that 2012-13 hasn't started as he'd have liked. Even so, the regressing former All-Star center is confident he will eventually be the NBA's best at his position. "People said I wouldn't be in the NBA," said Hibbert, the highest-paid Pacer at $13.8 million this season. "People said I wouldn't be a starting center, this, that and the other. I just prove people wrong. ... A fake Hibbert Instagram account took a shot at Howard recently and gained some traction on the Internet before it was debunked -- "I'm the best center in the league #[expletive]Dwight" it read. "That wasn't me, but I will be the best center in the league one day," Hibbert said.

Well then, OKC just beat the soon to be best center in the leage last night. It was a good, hard-fought game. On a night when Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant were not at their best, the roll players stepped up. Great, great win for OKC.

I have almost gotten to the point where I can't watch an entire NBA game. Where is the defense? I get tired of watching people run through the lane and dunk the ball or guys jacking 3's all over the place. Would it be so bad if someone hit someone going through the lane every once in a while? Bring back the Knicks/Bulls/Pacers rivalries!! Bring back the back to the basket low post scorer/shot blocking centers..
