03:58 PM ET 12.10 | Denver Nuggets coach George Karl has gone on record in saying that he enjoyed coaching the post-Carmelo Anthony version of the Denver Nuggets far more than its predecessor. However, with Anthony starring two years after being traded and the Knicks off to a fast start this season, Karl admitted that he has noticed Anthony adjusting his priorities to be a more complete player. "I've said I feel that Carmelo is going to win a championship someday," Karl said. "He's going to figure out that the numbers and the stats sheets aren't important. It's the scoreboard and the intangibles that make winners champions." Karl rattled off the names of several of his former players that came to a similar conclusion later in their careers.

Having Wallace, Kidd and Company around has opened the eyes of the other Knick players, especially when they flash their Rings, The Boys From NYC are now being Taught How To Win!

Now here are all the naysayers yapping off at the mouth. You have a certain block who says "it because of Kidd, veterans, & maybe even Wallace". Well, I say Melo played this way since the last month of April of last season, and needless to say, well before the arrival of those who assert this. These people would rather give anyone credit before giving Melo credit, Putzs!
Then you have a losing and bogus ass ex-coach in Karl, who' now all of a sudden trying to allude to the changes Melo has made himself, by saying "he knew all along Melo could make these changes and this is what he was trying to get him to do because, "get this" this is what it takes to win championships". Funny though, this, coming from a coach who hasn't sniffled a championship as a headcoach. Karl, shutty, "I'm through wit this guy", next!
Then you have the purist in hating Melo who says this, "Melo is totally selfish and he'll never win a ring while chucking up 30 shots", meanwhile these same purist excuse Kobe without any reservations on the innummerable games he chucks 30, sometimes 40 shots win or lose by saying "Whatelse could he do?" "his teamates didn't show up" "he had to do what he had to do in order to try and get a win". Kobe has had a lot more talent around him than Melo since Melo's arrival in New York, yet this sucker always gets a pass. When Melo does this, its Melo's selfish, when Kobe does it, its he had to do it. Funny though Kobe's been doing this for 16 years, no problem...."I'm through wit this group".

Wave to the new Melo bandwagon, kids!
Unfortunately, the juvenile author of this post won't ever be able to make the case that his old team was better with Melo at its leaden, ball-stopping core. Nuggets fans thank the lord each and every day he's gone.

Indeed. Who but an idiot wouldn't want as low an offensive efficiency as possible?
