Beginning of the end for Flacco in Baltimore?

08:06 AM ET 12.11 | With the removal of Cam Cameron, in favor of Jim Caldwell, John Harbaugh and Baltimore can hope that the shake-up breathes some life into the offense. [But] it also puts more pressure on Harbaugh as well as quarterback Joe Flacco. For Flacco, there can be no more excuses. We don't want to hear about the lack of quality receivers or his poor offensive line. We don't want to hear about his strained relationship with Cameron because now he is working directly with one of the best in the NFL. As for Harbaugh, he is the next man up. ... Flacco is no Peyton Manning. He's not even younger brother Eli. But if Flacco can't reach the next level with Caldwell, it will probably mean the end of him in Baltimore. As for Harbaugh, he is under fire now.

Last time I looked (30 seconds ago) the Ravens were 9-4, two games up in the most competitive division in the AFC. Their defense, once the most feared in the NFL, is suffering from old age and injuries. The team has scored 331 points, which is more than the Packers or the Niners.
I was kind of shocked to see them let Cam Cameron go at this point of the season, but this talk makes it sound like the Ravens are no better than the Cardinals. Flacco isn't up there with Brady and Peyton Manning, but he's going to take them to the playoffs again. Give the guy credit for that.

Very risky. It's amazing how the offense looked so good early in the season and then just went off the tracks.

Somebody was going to give JaMarcus Russell a job, but he couldn't fit in the Santa suit.

And they will rip the Browns for doing the same next Sunday. But the Browns deserve one of those "season non-achievement" trophies.

Last time I checked Flacco wasn't playing defense for the Ravens. There's 15 worse starting QBs in the league right now.

Someone famous once said that a QB can not *****ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. Torrey Smith killed my fantasy squad with his 2 points this week.

I had to look this up, too. Their backup is Tyrod Taylor. Isn't a tyrod something in the front suspension of a car?
