12:02 PM ET 12.11 | UFC heavyweight Matt Mitrione has a bout with Roy Nelson this Friday for the season 16 finale of FX's 'The Ultimate Fighter'. Nelson, a proponent of the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) as a means of stamping out PED use, asked Mitrione to take part in their pre-fight testing regimen. Mitrione declined, citing the process as a distraction. "Since I was coming on somewhat short notice, cutting a couple weeks out of my camp, and training for a five-round fight, this is something I wanted to make sure I didn't have any thing that could distract me," Mitrione said. For his part, Nelson has now twice failed to get an opponent to sign up for VADA's pre-fight testing. "So far, I'm 0-2," Nelson said.
