Funny that the NFL Network put that into quotes.

"Reclaim his reputation"... yeah, right. He should just be honest about it and say "get paid".

Good move by Vilma. Spend a bunch more money on legal fees to get something he has no hope of getting. If he thinks winning a defamation lawsuit will clear his rep as a cheap shot thug, he's sadly mistaken.

Judging my most of these comments, it seems like Vilma is the only one who thinks he can "reclaim his reputation".

His reputation is what it is. Nothing will change it outside of the state of Louisiana.

Before all this Vilma didn't have a reputation as a cheap shot thug. If he in fact is one, I'd like to see or hear the evidence that backs that up. If not, it's a bandwagon reputation that carries no weight. The cheap shot thug at the top of the ladder is Suh, no question.

Vilma has a chance to cash in pretty good on this if he doesn't get greedy. Goodell screwed up BIG.
