04:13 PM ET 12.11 | Not only is Texas defensive coordinator Manny Diaz reportedly a candidate at Florida International, offensive coordinator Bryan Harsin is reportedly interviewing for the Arkansas State job. If the Horns do lose a pair of coaches to the Sun Belt, Mack Brown could find himself making some very critical hires in what's likely to be one of his last few seasons as Texas head coach.

Didn't see this before posting on other thread. If this happens, the replacement OC has already had conversations

lmao..Diaz being forced out anyways....not sure about Harsin..could be as well...This is awesome to say the least...

Imagine for a moment that you are a Horns fan (I know LUS it takes a lot of imagination, but bear with me here). You are bumping along things are good. VY won ya the whole thing in '06, you were quite competitive with Colt at the helm. But look at the last three and tell me Mack hasn't slipped big time.

Texas has had the pick of the litter in the Lone Star state forever. Two huge TX misses (at QB no less) that they either failed to recruit or improperly recruited have won the last 2 Heisman Trophies. In the meantime your QB (Ash) can't grab his **** with both hands. Your in-state rival (Sheep lovers) are the toast of the SEC and are now kicking your **** on the recruiting trail as every TX schoolboy now wants to play for Sumlin in a real conf.

Oh my how the once proud and mighty Orange have fallen.

Mack will be gone and it will start with DeLoss's departure first. This is the greatest geriatric cabal in college sports

DeLoss is one year from retiring. No one will want to coach there because the LHN films you taking a leak.

After Oregon State beats Texas by 2 TDs, I don't think they'll keep Mack around.

Seems like a nice man but I think he's lost his "touch".

While a lot of this is valid, don't sell Ash too short. He's just behind JFF in QB rating. With a D, he would only have 1 loss this season.

On the recruiting side, UTx will prob still have a higher rated class. The only reason why aTm is higher now is because they have about 10 guys that will need to be processed, having 34 commits vs. the 14 that UTx has, which is one away from the 85 limit. The avg player rating is noticeably higher for the Horns.

Remember, aggys were supposedly much greater than the Horns last year. I won't buy the hype until they beat more than 1 ranked team a year.
