04:40 PM ET 12.11 | The New York Jets claimed wide receiver Braylon Edwards off waivers on Tuesday. Edwards was waived by the Seattle Seahawks from the injured reserve list on Tuesday. Edwards spent the 2009 and 2010 seasons with the Jets, logging 88 catches for 1,445 yards and 11 touchdowns in two seasons with New York. This season with the Seahawks, Edwards only has eight receptions for 74 yards and one touchdown. Edwards has played with four teams over his nine year NFL career, with his best numbers coming during his third season with the Cleveland Browns in 2007.

You say that in jest but I was picked out of the crowd at the circus when I was a little kid to help fill the clown car. Trust me when I tell you 15 unshaven grown men dressed in colourful silk covered in pancake make up, stinking of gin, and 15 little boys, stuffed into a gutted Volkswagon is a bad idea to say the least.
