07:59 PM ET 12.11 | It couldn't have been a better season for Texas A&M Aggies redshirt quarterback Johnny Manziel. Not only did the Johnny Football fever take over the nation, but it led to the young signal-caller becoming the first freshman to become a Heisman Trophy winner in the history of the award. Now that Johnny Football is a Heisman Trophy winner, he is also a first-team All-American. The Associated Press unveiled their All-American teams on Tuesday and Manziel led the way for the first team. Out of the teams represented on the first team All-American team, Alabama led the way with four players - Barrett Jones and Chance Warmack, C.J. Mosley and Dee Milliner. The Southeastern Conference as a whole came out on top with nine players. The Pac-12 had the second most representatives with six.

Oooookay. I have to speak up about this one. Caleb Sturgis and Dustin Hopkins are EASILY the two best kickers in the nation...and some kid from TULANE is the First-Team Kicker? I'm calling BS on that one for SURE!

I'll also throw Sharp's name from OKState. Best kicker I saw personally.

Dustin Hopkins set the NCAA record for career points scored by a kicker, as well as numerous ACC career kicking/scoring records. Oh, and he scored more points than any other kicker in the nation this year, and is 5-5 from 50 yards and out. I could go on...

Not say I am agreeing with it, hater, just saying I think that is the rationale the AP used.

Patterson & Hunter from UTK didn't even get honorable mentions. The only Tennessee player to be mentioned was Dallas Thomas (OL).

Well...Patterson can't run routes and Hunter is too afraid of getting hit (though he did have over 1000 yards). I can't believe no one from UTk's stellar defense got mentioned...

Considering missed kicks have cost us at least two potential NC's, yeah I'm making all this racket about a KICKER.

I'm a "hater" because I pointed out that the AP got it wrong? Damn, I'll bet you'd REALLY have some harsh words for me if I told you I didn't think Johnny Foozball deserved the Heisman, huh?
