Jones: Dez wants to play, will make the call

08:03 AM ET 12.12 | Dez Bryant, broken finger and all, wants to play Sunday. And whether he does will be determined Bryant himself, team owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday on his KRLD-FM radio segment. X-Rays revealed that Bryant fractured his left index finger Sunday in the fourth quarter of Dallas' 20-19 victory over Cincinnati. Bryant will have to undergo surgery to repair the damage but will be given the option of delaying the operation until after the season. "It has not been decided by Dez, who will be the ultimate decision maker, whether or not he wants to try to continue to play with a lot of protection or whether or not he should have surgery," Jones said. ... "But make no mistake about it, Dez is chomping at the bit and wants to take the route of playing."

This is an easy call...
If Dallas were not in the playoff hunt, then have surgery and put him on IR.
Since they do have an outside shot at getting in, he should play through the pain if it does not keep him from catching balls...assuming he can practice all week long and has no problems, then suit up big fella!

I'm sure Jerry is applying some passive-aggressive pressure on Bryant. I hope Bryant plays, and I hope the bad finger makes him drop a pass in a key situation and costs them a game.
