If Lebron stayed this is the kinda crap he'd be going through in Cleveland. In retrospect I think the guy made the right decision in leaving. The only problem is he went to the wrong team.

What kind of crap? They are a young team that ran into injury problems with 2 of their 5 starters and the season isn't even half way over. Its obvious to everyone that this team is a hell of a lot more competitive when Kyrie is on the floor and once Waiters gets back into the mix they should continue to improve.
I'm not saying that they shouldn't trade Andy but they have him locked up through 2014 so getting rid of him now might not be whats best for the team. I say what's best for the team because when they had Lebron they did what's best for him! I would hold onto Andy until the trade deadline and examine all offers, if nothing blows them away then keep him and trade him in the offseason. There is no hurry to move him now because the best offers aren't even on the table yet.

They are a young team and are trying to build for the future instead of putting a bunch of retreads together to win now with their superstar, as they did with LeBron. Patience is not rudderless or foolish. As the deadline moves closer someone will offer them the moon for Varejao. I hate to see him go but unfortunately it finally makes sense.

What sense does it make to trade your most consistent player? Why not make an attempt to build around Varejao and Irving? Anything they get in exchange will only stay until the opportunity to get out presents itself.

Varejao's salary is relatively cheap compared to what he brings to table. They are better off keeping him. What top flight free agent that they can bring in under ~10Mil/year that fits a need? By the time it is time for him to move on maybe after his contract ends they would hope Zeller has came into his own as the long term replacement. The Cav's just need to hope Kyrie stays and keep drafting the best available player. This is called rebuilding.
