08:09 AM ET 12.12 | The Lakers, fresh off sinking to a new season low on Tuesday night, may be feeling a sense of urgency. [Steve Nash] believes he will be out a while longer, and the team has begun weighing options to bolster its point guard corps. A source told ESPNLosAngeles.com that the Lakers' options at this point are somewhat limited, but they'll likely consider free agents such as Delonte West, who was cut by the Dallas Mavericks in October, and Eddie House, as well as a trade. The Lakers remain committed to their core group of players, the source said, but feel they must address the situation at point guard with Nash's situation difficult to get a handle on. ... Without Nash, the Lakers have turned to guards Chris Duhon, Darius Morris and Steve Blake.

Just make sure Delonte stays on his meds...

He doesn't interact well with others when he's not on his meds.

He doesn't interact well with others when he IS on his meds. And they'd all better guard their mothers. He's on the prowl.

why dont the Lakers just call up someone from the D league?

IMO, the Lakers were better off with Mike Brown than D'atonie.. Mike, a defensive mastermind.. and D is offence only.

Listen up you homers. Breaking News by Apple and it is completely fact based:

Kobe/Lakers: 9-13, lost last night. Stats for Kobe: 41min, 42pts, 5rbs, 2ast, 3-9 3pt, 16-28

Melo/Knicks: 16-5, won last night. Stats for Melo: 44min, 45pts, 5rbs, 3ast, 5-7 3pt, 15-24

Season averages:

Kobe: 29.2pts, 5.0rbs, 4.8ast, 48.8FG%, FGA 441, FGM 215, FGmissed 226

Melo: 27.7pts, 6.6rbs, 2.1ast, 46.5FG%, FGA 387, FGM 180, FGmissed 207

Most of you on this site run off at the mouth praising Kobe by saying Kobe's shoots because he has to carry his already stacked team. You never accuse him of not being a team player or selfish. You call the Lakers championship contenders and then say they'll be there in the end.

Most of you on this site run off at the mouth dissing Melo by saying Melo's selfish and he shoots too much and the Knicks will never win with him. You say you hope he can finally buy into team play and that he has to ajust to Stat when he comes back and just a number of other dumb and factless assertions.

Look, I back my assertions up with facts and fact is, there does seem to be any real difference in these two and how they play. Its only that Melo's team is winning with his play and you never give him any credit, and Kobe's team is losing and you can't find any wrong in how he plays. The true fact of the matter here is that there is a glowing double standard thats full of hypocrisy here as it relates to these two. I might add it is also shameful that you have all of you who continue to demonstrate you ignorance and are not man or woman enough to man up about it.

Get you facts together, cause I got mines together....this is Apple and I'm empatically out!

What can Eddie House do but sit in the corner and hit an occasional 3-pointer or two?

What about team chemistry, can you weigh in on this?

Chemistry? Really? Kobe yelling at teammates hollering "put your big boy pants on", and slamming scorers tables in practice, and then the interview this morning, yeah you know the one where he's applying his "ZEN" patients...LOL! Wow, just Wow!
