Jabari Parker set to make college announcement

05:09 PM ET 12.12 | Chicago high school basketball phenom Jabari Parker will announce on Thursday, Dec. 20 where he will attend college next year. Parker will make the announcement at Simeon Career Academy, where he has grown into a star in leading the school to the 2012 Illinois Class 4A state title.
Parker will be choosing from five finalists: the BYU Cougars, Duke Blue Devils, Florida Gators, Michigan St. Spartans and Stanford Cardinal. Duke and Michigan State have long been considered the favorites for Parker, though Florida is seen by many in the basketball recruiting world as a dangerous dark horse to land his services.
