Kane doesn't want to return to Switzerland

08:19 AM ET 12.13 | Among the players who left for overseas work, Patrick Kane has returned to North America, and now it's a matter of how long he'll stay. [Kane] enjoyed his time over in Switzerland, enjoyed playing some actual hockey games these past few months. And while he's set to go back on Sunday if need be, Kane's hoping he doesn't have to. Kane is back in Chicago while Swiss teams take a break, and joined past and present Blackhawks at their informal skate on Wednesday. ... "It's tough to tell, to be honest with you with the whole thing. I was getting texts last week telling me 'Pack your bags.' So I'm not going to speculate anymore until someone tells me it's done," Kane said after practice. "But it would be nice not to have to go back Sunday."

stories like this really make the players look like stupid self-centered ****. They should really not try to open their mouths to the media if this is the stupidity they'll come out with. They're lucky enough to be able to jump the pond and get paid while living a different experience, but they still act too good for it all. I understand wanting to come back to the league, but do more than just give lip service, actually be thankful for the situation put in front of you.
