Green doesn't back down from LeBron

03:42 PM ET 12.13 | Golden State Warriors rookie Draymond Green made what many felt was a tactical error by talking back to LeBron James after James scored on him early in the fourth quarter. However, Green got the last laugh at the end of the day, hitting the game-winning shot with 0.9 seconds left to give the Warriors a 97-95 road win over the Heat. "I'm not going to back down from anyone," Green said. "Yes he is one of the greatest players in the world. But that's not a license for me to back down. I'm trying to make a name for myself in this league just like he did once upon a time."

As a Knicks fan words like cheese, burger and buffet rings bells of trepidation. Can we please keep food out of this. It's hard writing this without saying names....

Well you don't do jacksh]t if you're a punk, and this kid clearly isn't going to let people treat him like one. I like kids like this. You beat me, you beat me. But save that "Hey kid, do you know who I am?!?!" crap for some D-Leaguer or some star-struck interviewer.

Well stated.
He's a rook and the rook didn't backdown to the king.
But he hasn't done anything yet but give a hard foul...

That's cool.
Still two more games to go between the heat and knicks, and I can assure you the heat won't lose them both.
As for the knicks, it's great to see them playing so well(after all the eastern version of the suns has arrived in New York).
However come playoff time, when those jumpers stop falling, and teams figure you out seeing as just one star is on the knicks then what?
Melo is in desperation mode to win a ring now.
If either Rose or Durant wins one before him, he will look like an idiot.
Am glad Melo is having such a breakout season though, after all a few years ago, he piggy backed Iverson in Denver, now he finally is leading a team.
Let's hope all those 3 pointers aren't falling in vain, it's title or bust when you're an MVP candidate now.
Especially for Melo.

4-0! will be a sweep this is the Knicks year..son! Woodson coach of the year if he doesnt over coach with Anthony on Marc Gasol again!

Green hasn't done much. Is he a talented player. No. Has he got amazing skills. No. Can he shoot the ball. No. Can he play defense. Yes. He is a tough rookie that works his **** off on the court. He forces turnovers. He didnt back down from Lebron, but David Lee didnt too. The Heat are the most talented team in the NBA, but their one weakness is tough play. Wade body is not as strong as it use to be, he cries like a baby all the time and is only averaging .6 blocks a game. So something is wrong with his body. Lebron is one of the most powerful players of all time. But his ego is bigger than his heart. He has a Karl Malone body, athletic ability of Jordan but NBA players do not fear his strength.
Woodson.. Coach of the year. Sure. But credit has to go to Jason Kidd. A player that changes a culture of the whole team. Kurt Thomas is also helping with that too. Carmelo has matured so much this year with the veterans on the team. Kidd demands his team to grow. His leadership is worth more than anything on the stat sheet.

I'm not too worried about the Knicks sweeping the Heat in the regular season, Mike Woodson is an awful postseason coach....so good luck with those regular season wins. Lol
