03:53 PM ET 12.13 | Brandon Roy appears to be inching closer to a return to the court after having to sit with yet another knee problem early in the Minnesota Timberwolves' season. Roy admitted that the thought of surgery has briefly crossed his mind, but he sees his injury improving. "There is always, I think, that small concern in the back of your mind," he said. "But it felt good this week, and I think I'm trying to push it because I want to get to next week and see where it's really at. But the good thing is it feels good. It feels like that nagging feeling I was feeling there early in the season, it feels like it's gone."

I'll give him A for effort - the effort of trying to play. That's all she wrote! I hope this young stars can use his story as a timely to make use of their time in the NBA cos you never know when an injury will take it all away.

Y're still a great player Roy!!!
