Why they interview these guys and set them up with this drivel is beyond me. What do they expect? "Oh I've always wanted Gary to be the best man at my wedding and Bill Daly the godfather of my first child". Meaningless, useless, unhelpful to anybody. And they killed a tree to print this. Just in........Jeremy Jacobs doesn't like Don Fehr. Wow! I didn't know that.

I was thinking the same thing.
I would also add that it is kind of, in the words of Caribou Barbie, "gotcha" stuff.
I will further add that I wonder if they would print if anyone said, 'yeah, he's okay...he (Dwarfus) is just doing his job".....I do so hate party line crap.....

What else are they supposed to do with their time? They still want to get paid and, since they know so little about the game itself .... this is what you can expect to get. Let's face it, most papers swept this whole hockey thing into the basement where it will lay forgotten for a long time.

I opened this article thinking "blast" meant a tick more than "I don't like him". Can we at least 'yo mama' joke so this isn't such a complete waste of time?

Ridiculous league - period.

Any major sports league that has choked the life of their game twice within 8 years doesn't deserve attention anymore. These guys (BOTH sides) have absolutely no clue about reality. They wonder why this sport is the little sister to MLB, NFL,NBA?? Their labour history is horrific.

The NFL is the model for all team sports leagues in America, they know it. How did their last CBA go? They got the job done, realizing there was simply too much at stake to sacrifice fan's loyalty and good faith. The season opened without a bhitch, everyone happy.

The NHL will only learn when die-hard fans stay away. Will they? No, because we are lemmings. However, wouldn't it be sweet if players (and owners) returned to see a season's worth of nightly attendance at around 7,500? That would jolt all these morons back into reality. We (the working stiffs) are paying hundreds of bucks to see a game for what? There are far too many clubs, affecting overall talent, the style of play is agonizingly boring.

The league has managed to suck, twist, manipulate all the life out of the game, and we keep going back. I won't even watch a game on TV when they declare "Game On!!!" and wait for the droves of zombies to fill seats again and fill their coffers. Junior hockey has done a great job filling my void, players with passion and a much more exciting game where everyone isn't playing the trap and coasting on 2 million dollar/seasons 2-way contracts.

Thats what Forbes thinks...over-expansion...and that happened under Bettman's watch...if the NHL didnt have weak franchises where they dont belong we wouldnt be in this mess.
