Lopez likely will return Friday

02:28 PM ET 12.14 | Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez is likely to return to the team's lineup for Friday's game against the Detroit Pistons, he told reporters during shootaround. "I felt pretty good," Lopez said . "I've been itching to get back out there for a while now. We've been taking it slow. We'll see how I feel when I get back tonight." Lopez has missed the last seven games with a right foot sprain. Coach Avery Johnson indicated that if Lopez plays Friday, he will likely sit on Saturday when the Nets play the Chicago Bulls.
