05:56 PM ET 12.14 | The news that came out Friday about John Wall's injured left knee could have been far worse for Washington Wizards fans. Wall visited a New York doctor on Friday, and he was told that now is the time to begin "ramping up" his activity to eventually return to the court. "John's examination today showed improvement in his stress injury that will allow him to begin ramping up his activity level," Dr. David Altchek said. "There is still some irritation in the knee which we have treated over his last several visits with a series of three lubricating Synvisc injections, the last of which was given today. He will continue to be evaluated on an ongoing basis." There is still no timetable for Wall's return.
