06:28 PM ET 12.14 | Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III will be listed as questionable on the team's final injury report for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan said that Griffin performed much better at practice on Friday, but his status is still up in the air. "We'll get a chance to evaluate him [Saturday] and talk to the doctors tomorrow and make a decision," Shanahan said, per Rich Campbell of the Washington Times. According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, fellow rookie quarterback Kirk Cousins has received all of the first-team reps during practice this week, with RG3 only participating in individual drills. Griffin will be a game-time decision.

This is a tough decision for Shanny to make. But I would play Cousins in the game with the Browns, and give RG3 more time to heal.

Definitely a tough decision.

Washington is currently one game behind the Giants in the NFC East, but a win against either Philadelphia (Week 16) or Dallas (Week 17) would give them the tie-breaker.

IOW: If the Giants lose one game and the Redskins win out, Washington is in the playoffs.

So the question is how do you rest RGIII back to health and win out?

He has to play in order for them to win. Period.

I don't think the Redskins will go the Strasburg route.

It certainly appears that is going to be the case. Why chance further injury? Just maybe, Cousins will surprise.

So he will make the wrong one

I'll enjoy watching it either way. If Cousins plays the way he did at MSU, this could be fun as a Browns fan.

Looks like a Giants loss and a Redskins win today.

G-Men no longer hold the lead in the NFC East.
