08:50 AM ET 12.15 | New Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre met with every current CU assistant coach Friday and said much of his new staff will hinge on whether San Jose State names defensive coordinator Kent Baer, the interim coach for the Spartans' bowl game, as MacIntyre's successor. MacIntyre, hired Monday to replace Jon Embree, said he will not have to wait until San Jose State's Dec. 27 Military Bowl game in Washington to fill out his CU staff. But the coach said he wants Baer as his defensive coordinator and offensive coordinator Brian Lindgren to fill the same role with the Buffaloes.
