Missing Brady spied limping

Cancel the All Points Bulletin - Tom Brady's been spotted in the Hub. But there's a catch. Or, more precisely, a limp. The NFL MVP quarterback was seen outside his Back Bay manse at dusk yesterday as he greeted the two Boston police officers who were watching his back. But when he stepped over to salute them, he walked with a noticeable limp. His gingerly shuffle of about 10 yards doesn't look like the kind of setback that will keep him off the field. Still, a limp is a limp.

Give the guy some privacy, does the whole world have to know he is limp? That just ain't right.

January 27, 2008  08:01 AM ET

Brady looks limp out there-The Pats call time out,Coach Belichick whispers something in his ear- Don't know what he said to him, but Tom is not limp anymore...

Funny Larry B - you took a enlightning story and thrashed the Giants. The true affect of this story will seen with what the oddsmakers doing....have not seen a big swing. I am getting giddy reading how Brady has gone limp (wait thats Romo).

January 27, 2008  08:34 AM ET

This whole Brady thing is starting to sounds like a soap opera. Even sounds like someone is trying to screw with the point spread out of Las Vegas. Gotta also believe Bellicheck is laughing alot.

January 27, 2008  08:36 AM ET

I don't know 50, did the whole world need to know what Tony Romo had for breakfast in Mexico? Fair's fair in crap pool that is the media.

January 27, 2008  08:45 AM ET

One question though; why aren't they practicing in Arizona? It's not like they need to stay in NE to climatize to the cold in AZ.

All i know is new york better bring it ...I see brady on fire ..!!!

Belicheat must be in agony.

January 27, 2008  09:13 AM ET

if big blue gets to score first, it is over. pats will start to internally panic over not making it to 19-0

go big blue!

January 27, 2008  10:17 AM ET

It doesn't really matter because he's not flighty in the pocket nor is he a runner. However, if he doesn't get his usual 20 minutes in the pocket to scan the field, he will throw another three picks.

I'm counting on Spagnuolo to dial one up.

January 27, 2008  10:19 AM ET

Just like they internally paniced against the ravens, at indy and philly. The panic ran through them so much the promptly mounted game winning scoring drives and manned up on D. Internal panic is a serious danger. It doesn't matter how well the giants start the game they had over a TD lead at half (can't remember how many points I think 8 I just remember in the postgame interview Brady repeatedly got it wrong guess he wasn't too paniced) and the gaints gave the game away with a stupid penalty and a ridiculously conservative play calling proving they can play 3 quarters against the pats but unfortunately like every other team in the NFL the pats play 4 quarters. Oh I forgot to mention how poorly the gaints used the clock on their last drive before their futile onside attempt. This is going to be a blow out. No way the sequel will be as good of a game to watch.

I wonder if this whole thin is being created in order to create a distraction from the Randy Moss hearing this week. The fact that Brady is "hurt" will take a whole lot of coverage and pressure away from Moss, who is much more psychologically fragile than Brady or Belichik.

January 27, 2008  10:34 AM ET

This thread is for the "Bookies." Anyone that believes that ther's even a remote possibility that Brady is hurt is delusional. (or wishful thinking) The Boston Herald should be ashmed of themselves.

January 27, 2008  10:35 AM ET

ashamed of themselves.

January 27, 2008  10:38 AM ET

Viking fan us right. I thought thi s all along. Brady can handle anything. The Pats are letting him take the heat as they know his resilience will show through. Moss on the other hand has a harder time dealing with distractions.

January 27, 2008  10:53 AM ET

The only reason Moss would have to to feel pressured or distracted is if he is guilty. Otherwise he should welcome the opportunity to clear his name and put this behind him.

January 27, 2008  10:57 AM ET

If Brady isn't limping now, he will be..

Go BLUE

"if big blue gets to score first, it is over. pats will start to internally panic over not making it to 19-0"

You mean like when the PATS fell behind 7-0 and 28-16 to the GIANTS the first time? Or when they fell behind 3-0 to the CHARGERS? Or 7-0 to the JAGUARS? Or 28-24 to the Eagles? Or 20-10 to the COLTS? Or 24-17 to the RAVENS?

The Big Blue that will be GOING to 19-0 will be the PATRIOTS.
