Will Bud Adams fired Mike Munchak?

11:11 AM ET 12.16 | When Bud Adams selected Mike Munchak to coach the Titans, it seemed like a great match. The owner loved the thought of the longtime Houston Oilers guard, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, taking over as the face of the franchise. Less than two years later, however, the Titans are stuck in reverse and lack an identity. After posting a better-than-expected 9-7 finish last season, they are 4-9 headed into Monday night's game against the Jets. Could the free fall be enough to cost Munchak his job? Only Adams, 89, knows how it will shake out. The final three games could go a long way in helping him decide, but the Titans have lost three of four since he put everyone in the organization on notice after an embarrassing 51-20 loss to the Bears.

Munchak isn't head coach material. He made bad decisions by hiring Jerry Gray and Chris Palmer, those decisions are on Munchak, not Bud Adams. I would like to see the Titans go after Greg Roman, the 49s offensive coordinator, he could do a lot with Jake Locker, whose playing style is similar to Colin Kaepernick's.
