04:30 PM ET 12.16 | The North Carolina State Wolfpack and new head coach Dave Doeren now have their coordinators in place. Last week, it was announced that Doeren lured Pittsburgh Panthers defensive coordinator Dave Huxtable away from the Panthers to accept the same position with NC State. Now, Doeren has his offensive coordinator. NC State announced that Matt Canada has joined the Wolfpack as the team's offensive coordinator. Canada worked with Doeren for one year at Northern Illinois before leaving to take a coaching position with the Wisconsin Badgers last year. Doeren and Canada are now reunited with the Wolfpack. "Matt Canada has one of the most creative offensive minds in the country and he does a great job of utilizing strengths and hiding weaknesses," said Doeren. "I had the privilege to work with Matt when he was on the staff of our first conference championship team at Northern Illinois and to coach against him when he was the offensive coordinator at Indiana. Matt has had to run his offense with different personnel and has been successful each time. He will make the transition much easier for me. He's not only a tremendous quarterback coach who has developed quarterbacks into NFL players, but he has also developed the run game, as evidenced by Wisconsin's success rushing the ball this season."

I thought Canadian dollars had appreciated against US dollars since the oil sands began producing significant quantities of crude and taken a big bump when the CDO/credit default swap boondoggle came home to roost.
