07:50 AM ET 12.17 | For nearly a month now, Miami coach Erik Spoelstra has been seeking both consistency and a Heat team playing to its identity. So far, the Heat???s players haven???t responded the way Spoelstra would like. The Heat was 3-3 in the month of December before Saturday???s game against the Wizards. "We have 10 or so possessions where we???re not playing the way we???re capable of," Spoelstra said. "Either it???s an effort issue or a concentration issue or guys not on the same page or one man checking out and breaking down mentally, and this is something that is correctable." One of the most glaring errors occurred at the end of the Heat???s loss to the Warriors on Wednesday night when Miami forward Shane Battier misread a defensive assignment and allowed a game-winning layup.

The refs is Miami's issue. OKC should have won it last year.

I agree, Lebron draws attention and money but can barely hit a jump shot and of course game winners while Durant did it all through the playoffs. The nba is about making money and ratings. Now that Durant has become a household name he shouldn't get robbed this year.
