Ground hog day. We had this thread a few weeks ago...if I remember correctly.

Calipari said. "I saw little change. We just went five days and I saw little change. So if I see a little change in this next week, from that point on, folks, we're not winning many, that's a fact." He also said: "They're hearing, but they're not listening. They're hearing what we say, but they're not listening to it."


Jus maybe there not the players you thought they where, and this is the best they can do.

Do 18-20 year-olds listen to adults? No.

They are not listening because they know that they won't be around next year.

Trouble with most of Cal's recruits......they're too GOOD to listen! Do you suppose they listen in the classroom? Oh yeah, classes are for STUDENT atheletes, not pros in waiting.

Agreed. It's hard to take kids who are the cream of the crop in high school, being told that they are Mr. Everything, and now being told that they have to play team ball and that they are not the best player on the team like they were told in high school. They think they know everything where realistically, they know nothing.

Have you paid any attention to the actual people Cal has recruited? Brandon Knight, Anthony Davis, MKG? I dare anyone to find anything negative to say about the character of any of them.

Brandon finished High School with over a year's worth of AP college credit and pulled in a 4.0 GPA while at UK.

The 2012 UK team won the national title because every player was willing to give up individual playing time in order to see the team succeed. This is how Cal recruits, he refuses to promise playing time or shots per game.

Do the research next time before you throw out opinions based on ignorance and stereotypes.

Yes, no character in the people he recruits. Like Nerlens Noel, whose leisure time activities are questionable at best. From KSR:

2. - Agreed, that was a selfless team. Similar to the UF 04s. I think that the 12 UK team was the exception rather than the rule.
