08:00 AM ET 12.17 | Not only has Notre Dame football been very good to its fans this season, but also its players. [Life] might even get a little sweeter for Notre Dame safety Zeke Motta after Jan. 7 -- at least financially. Motta is one of four Notre Dame seniors who started the year with an NFL Draft scouting grade of "priority undrafted free agent" and now could go as high as the middle rounds, according to draft analyst Scott Wright of draftcountdown.com. "Motta had such a good year and really helped himself a lot," Wright said of the 6-foot-2, 215-pound Miami native. ... The other three Irish seniors trending into at least rounds 5-7 are defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore, center Braxston Cave and running back Theo Riddick.

Their draft stock could take a hit after playing Alabama. stir, stir

Maybe Bama will wind up dominating ND in the NCG but as an Irish fan I truly hope and pray that every one of the Alabama players and coaches think this game will be a "walk in the park..." (just like their fans do...!)

After what Bama does to them, be lucky to just be able to be let back into their own home, much less go anywhere else.

Ha ha ha ha ha! You're killing me!

Dont count on that...Satan has them believing they are the underdog at this time

but the rest of the world has them believing they're winning the super bowl.

If you have ever listened to the Bama players, you'd know they never think that. They always give the utmost respect for every team. Otr at least they say they do. Who knows what they really think.

I agree. I'm not sure that they agree, watching the way that they acted at the end of the LSU game on the sideline, but they seem to at least SAY the right things. Even Saban freaks out each week when reporters skip over the crap schools they play in non-conference to talk about games in the future.

I, for one, hope so.

ESECPN is gurgling their balls at every opportunity.

I think we could make some money on a few pay sites with that footage???

Who cares what Saban is telling his players...they won a title last year. ESECPN is gurgling their balls at every opportunity. The more time that passes, the less worried I am. I like our offense against their defense better than their offense against our defense. This is our season.

Yes, I remember the last time PTI did a 30 minute special on Alabama and the timeline that they used to get back to a title... oh wait, no I don't. But they're doing it for Notre Dame.

And anyway, even if they did, which is laughable, it would only be fair considering how NBC slurp-slurps ND constantly.

Also, honestly, I hope ND's team has the same attitude of their fans, because there has been a lot of smack talk from ND fans. Mostly not from here on SI, but even here I've seen some.
