01:35 PM ET 12.17 | Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan broke two franchise records in Week 15 against the New York Giants. Ryan threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns on Sunday, allowing him to break the team mark for passing yards in a single season. Ryan has thrown for 4,202 yards in 14 games this season. He set the old record in 2011 by throwing for 4,177 yards. Ryan also completed 23 of 28 passes against the Giants, breaking his own franchise record for completions in a season with 369. Ryan had 357 completions in 2010.

Matty is well on his way to being the successor to Peyton and Tom Brady as the next super QB in the NFL.
He'll have some comparables, but he's going to be one of the best in the next ten years as long as the Falcons put a decent team around him, and coach him well.
Would hate to see him bcome a Dan Marino, super talent without the team to make it happen.
