07:48 PM ET 12.17 | According to a few tweets from Ken Berger of CBS Sports, Amare Stoudemire has been cleared to practice, making him one step closer to returning from knee surgery. He will be flying down to Erie to practice with the BayHawks, the New York Knicks' D-League affiliate team. Why? Head coach Mike Woodson doesn't think he'll have sufficient time to get it going in the next few practices and doesn't want to stunt STAT's arrival time. According to an earlier report from SLAM Online, Amare has set the Knicks' Christmas game against the Los Angeles Lakers as a possible season debut. Carmelo Anthony on the other hand has missed the past few games with a sprained ankle. He doesn't have a strict timetable for his return but chances are he'll be ready to go by Dec. 25.

Get well soon Nash, the Lakers are looking as if they will turn the corner soon after playing below five hundred teams recently. It's about time to stop milking the pay check. You have a prime example on the team that plays through pain even if it's just a mild contusion.
