08:04 AM ET 12.18 | Have we already seen the end of Michael Vick in Philly? [Vick] was asked whether he wanted to return to the Eagles next season, possibly in a backup role. Vick was noncommittal. "I just feel like I've got a lot of football to play," Vick said. "I feel like I've got a lot left in my tank. I'm enjoying the game, I feel fresh. I don't know. I'll have to talk it over with my agent [Joel Segal] and just see what happens." The Eagles are unlikely to bring Vick back considering his age (32), injuries (he has missed 11 games in the last three seasons), and 2013 contract ($16.5 million). ... Vick, meanwhile, may not even dress for the last two games. Reid said that he had not yet made a decision on whether Vick would be the No. 2 or 3 quarterback.

Aw, but wouldn't it be fun to see him beat the Giants and knock them out of the playoffs the last game of the year?

That dread just won't go away will it DD?

There's at least six teams out there that would improve with Vick at QB. Not a fan, but he's played some decent football in the past. KC, Jacksonville, Buffalo, Miami, Tennessee, Arizona.

Yup.

But you have to admit, it's a lot more pleasant around here the weeks after the Giants lose.

The same teams might even improve with Tebow at quarterback.

Sanchez might help one or two of them.

(Did I really say that?)

Never thought they'd be in this position. Thought 8-8 would be a stretch looking at the schedule.

Still have to watch out for Dallas.

Any given Sunday. You can't even take the Eagles for granted.

Nope. It's hard to sweep a division rival. And the game is in Philly.

Philly is playing better, too. Possible trap game there.

Can't look past that game, even if the pundits think it's a cake walk.

I told Otis I was hoping for a week 17 elimination game. Nothing better than Skins/'Boys both contenders at the same time.

True, but The Saints can be had.

Good luck.

If the Giants lose to the Ravens, the Skins beat the Eagles and the Cowboys beat the Saints, then that game will be for the NFC East championship.

Damn. Who'd a thunk it?

Not a good idea if the Eagles have Battery Night.
