Woodson: Lin chose not to be a Knick

08:07 AM ET 12.18 | Linsanity returned to New York for a one-night engagement, but an interesting review was submitted prior to the performance. Mike Woodson gave his first candid answer regarding Jeremy Lin's departure before [Monday's] Rockets victory over the Knicks. Woodson's view is Lin left the Knicks, not the other way around. Although the Knicks could have matched the Rockets ramped-up $25.1M offer sheet, Woodson believed it was unmatchable because of the luxury-tax penalties on Lin's final year, worth $15M. "We wanted Jeremy back," Woodson said. "I made that public back in the summer. But things changed from a business standpoint. Jeremy decided to take the Houston (new) deal. He had every right to do that. As an organization, we moved on."

Yeah fa you lovenatics...go ahead and tell us how thrilling Love's rather somewhat decent performance was mystifying and magical. I'm sure you cats will over exaggerate his game. Kudos to Love and the Rockets for coming into MSG and settin us Knicks fans straight. I mean I was stunned and found myself sayin "got damn this Love is special", "I mean he was on the floor only two times sliding". I then began to think how much more spectacular he has become and his game has shown marked improvements". Great Job Love!
In addition to that guys, please tell us how spectacular our team MVP Kidd played. I mean did you see that shhiiitt, fabulous crossovers and beating everybody up the court. I mean he really showed us how to play great defense and he well he and the Knicks play without Melo. I mean did you see that MVP type performance from Kidd, our unquestioned leader, a fabulous 30 min, 5pt, 3ast, 1rb performace, simply thrilling and it had me wondering how could I not see how important this man is to our team. I am stunned by this oversight!
Great job Lovenatic & Kiddathons of making me keenly aware of this! Apple!
