Chelios getting closer to an NHL bench?

08:28 AM ET 12.18 | Once notorious for lockout comments he made what seem like a lifetime ago, Chris Chelios is still pretty close to NHL hockey, helping coach the Red Wings' AHL affiliate in Grand Rapids. The official title Chelios has with the Red Wings is adviser to hockey operations, which has encompassed coaching the Griffins; scouting; providing input to general manager Ken Holland and assistant GM Jim Nill on personnel issues; and doing community work, such as last week's Salvation Army bell-ringing drive. But these days, he's spending more time coaching. ... Chelios even admits it's getting to the point where he can envision himself as a head coach one day, probably at the NHL level rather than the minor leagues or college.

most certainly foil..... I was at a hawks/wings game last year and saw a shoving match between two guys each wearing a Chelli jersey....one a Wings and one a BHawks.... both guys like 50 yrs old and about 40 lbs overweight....funny as hell
