Jets will roll with McElroy

02:57 PM ET 12.18 | Greg McElroy will get the start at quarterback for the New York Jets in Week 16, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. It will be the first start of McElroy's NFL career as he replaces the ineffective Mark Sanchez. McElroy hops Tim Tebow for the starting job. Tebow was the high-profile backup quarterback who many have been calling for throughout the season. He is currently playing with broken ribs, and made a brief appearance on Monday night. He had not played in the Jets' previous three games.
